Extended Warranty
Option 1: Parts & Labor
Must buy all covered years at time of purchase of the unit. Option 1 is a complete one-year, two-year, or three-year extension of MYI’s General Warranty.
Martin Yale Industries (MYI) warrants component parts of its products to be free of manufacturing defects, the duration and terms of which are defined in the MYI General Warranty. Extended Warranties take effect at the conclusion of the General Warranty.
This extended warranty option also covers labor incurred or performed by the service dealer to replace defective components. This warranty does not cover wearable and consumable parts.
MYI will repair or replace any component part found to be defective within the warranty period, not caused by accident, misuse, or improper maintenance, if returned to our factory, transportation charges are prepaid. It is MYI’s prerogative to have the warrantied machine factory or field repaired.
If you believe you have a warranty claim, contact MYI for a Return Materials Authorization. MYI will not be responsible for any charges incurred without its specific authorization. Warranty parts will be invoiced, including freight. Upon return of the alleged defective part, credit will be issued, including the cost of ground freight, if the part proves to be defective.
This warranty is in lieu of all other warranties, express, implied, statutory or otherwise. MYI makes no warranty of use-case of any product, for any particular purpose.
To the extent permitted by law, any consequential or incidental damages of any kind, including, but not limited to lost profits or other economic injury are not warranted.
Option 2: Parts Only (Dealers Only)
